He graduated in percussion from the Giorgio Federico Ghedini Conservatory in Cuneo with 10/10 cum laude. He has a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature (a first level degree from the University of Turin) and completed an advanced course in timpani and percussion with the‘Civica scuola di Musica 'Claudio Abbado' in Milan. He is currently studying jazz vibraphone at the Accademia del Suono in Milan under the Maestro Andrea Dulbecco.

As a student he studied drums with Bruno Astesana, Stefano Bagnoli and Christian Meyer, and participated in many classic percussion masterclasses with nationally and internationally renowned teachers, such as David Searcy, Mike Quin, Christian Amhouy, Maurizio Ben Omar, Carmelo Gullotto, Bruno Frumento, Davide Ravioli and Dario Savron.

In 2013 he was admitted to a masterclass open to a limited number of participants at the Soncino Percussion Academy and played contemporary music tracks, prepared under the maestro Maurizio Ben Omar during the course, at the Sole 24 Ore Auditorium in Milan. During the same year he was admitted to the two-year specialised course with the Civica Scuola di Musica in Milan, where he studied timpani and percussion with the maestros Bruno Frumento and Cristiano Pirola.

In 2014 he won the audition for percussionist for the Accademia del Teatro Alla Scala Orchestra, which he was part of until November 2015, performing in productions at the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan (concerts, ballets and operas) and in national and international tours (United States, Germany, Oman, Italy), under the direction of important maestros of international importance such as Coleman, Luisi, Foster, Zanetti and Ranzani. He also played in numerous productions with the Bernasconi Ensemble of the Accademia del Teatro Alla Scala. With the Teatro Alla Scala Orchestra he also performed at the opening concert for EXPO 2015 under the direction of the maestro Armiliato.

During the years he has collaborated as percussionist and timpanist with many orchestras, such as the Teatro Alla Scala Orchestra, the Ensemble Bernasconi of the Accademia del Teatro Alla Scala, the Bartolomeo Bruni Orchestra in Cuneo, the Orchestra Sinfonica Italiana, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Piedmont, the wind orchestra Antiche Contrade and the Accademia del Teatro Alla Scala orchestra.

During September and October 2016 he participated as timpanist in the national tour ‘Italia...un sogno’ with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Asti, performing in theatres such as the ‘Petruzzelli’ in Bari, the ‘Luciano Pavarotti’ in Modena, the ‘Comunale’ in Bologna, the ‘Fraschini’ in Pavia, the ‘Filarmonico’ in Verona, the ‘Rendano’ in Cosenza etc. With the same orchestra he played as timpanist in

Paris on 29th November 2016 at the Cité du Cinéma, directed by the maestros Marcello Rota and Nicola Piovani, for the presentation of the ‘Pirelli’ calendar.

Recently he played as timpanist with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Asti for the national tour of the group ‘Il Volo’, performing in some of the most important stadiums in Italy (Assago Forum in Milan, Palaolimpico in Turin, Mogliani Forum in Livorno, Palalottomatica in Rome etc.), at the Verona Arena (two consecutive dates) and at the Flegrea Arena in Naples. In July 2017 he also performed with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Asti for the event ‘Orvieto Forever’, whose main guest was Andrea Bocelli. During the same month he participated in three operas with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Piedmont and with the Cengio Orchestra, playing Verdi’s ‘Aida’, ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’ by Mascagni and ‘Turandot’ by Puccini. With the Philharmonic Orchestra of Piedmont he also played ‘Il Trovatore’ at the Teatro Toselli in Cuneo during the month of November.

In 2016 he created a percussion duo called 'Tiuntaka' with the percussionist Nicola Campanella and from january 2018 he is a percussionist of 'Lugano percussion ensemble'.
